DiPeri is has been flying R/C models since the very
early 1970s and began flying R/C helicopters
in the late 1970s with an American Revolution
0.40 size fixed pitch helicopter (with no gyro)
Since then, he has flown most of the different manufactures
helicopter models available. He has competed at
most of the US Nationals since 1983 and for the
past 15 years has competed exclusively in F3C/FAI.
Tim is sponsored by Futaba, Morgan (Cool Power)
fuels and YS Engines.
In addition to performing at many demonstrations
and educational events, Tim also writes for several
publications as a freelance contributor.
Professionally, Tim owns several businesses including
a manufacturing representative agency www.caseco-inc.com.
He is a degreed electrical engineer and a licensed
commercial pilot (fixed wing single and multi engine;
instrument).
In his spare time, Tim is a co-leader in a Boy Scout
troop for his two boys. Tim has one daughter
and two sons (who regularly attend events with dad).
